    A bit about us

    Experienced Breeders

Quality not quanity . At the end of the day , they are part of the family . Temperment matters .

We believe in our dogs. We have worked at not just keeping the breed going better and better, but not too loose the perfect temperment and natural ability that the breed should be. Started our journey in 1988. Owned first dog in 1962. This  is  a  true  passion  passed down from generations to generations.

    Our family

Our puppies outside playing. Learning the sounds of the livestock.

We have specific guidelines that we feel make the breeds we love. Structure, a strong foundation that is sturdy. The foundation of your bloodline is the start of your future, if weak will eventually crumble. If strong will show from generations to generations. Instinct is important, if they can't perform the job designed for, then you need to reevaluate why your breeding. We breed for a dog we would proudly own and show. One we would actually go out and search for. Socialization from birth is important, so our babies are all born inside our home, not in a kennel, shed, barn or garage. Close enough  to hear them snore. Children are a great help with socializing puppies, over 75% of people getting a pup either have children or will have children. Our dogs are with us from birth to death, just because they reach an age  they no longer breed, we don't toss  them aside to another home. They earned a life of security and love. My husband, sons, grandchildren all are an important part of our dogs lives. We enjoy it, if you can't enjoy it, and your dogs don't enjoy it. It becomes a job, not a passion.

    A Furever Friend

Our Cattledogs don't compete in herding but we do use them on the cattle. We have completed with ability, Flyball. Our first Cattledog CH Yarrabees True Gritt C.D. "Rooster" had his obedience and champion title. He was amazing. He loves agility and herding. His temperment and Beauty and his amazing raccoon tail breed on. With our fith generation. We see him in each and every dog we breed. Our Anatolians are Noble looking dogs, they are our security, they patrol and keep out livestock safe. They also are great with children. They will work hard at all they do. Our beagles are the breed we decided would work well, they are smaller for our younger kids and grandchildren to show. Starting on rabbits soon, they have been breed from both show and hunting bloodlines to make the complete beagle
